Step 1: Plan the hair direction. Figure out what angle the eye is facing you so you can apply the right amount of curvature to each eyelash stroke. Using a sharp H pencil, lightly draw the front, side and/or the 3/4 facing lashes first. Then use your mechanical 4B pencil to go over those strokes with a much darker value.
